After months of being told 'all over 50's will be offered a flu jab'Already there is a shortage, another fuck up by the Government. Doesn't give me much hope

There is plenty of stocks, just a shortage of appointments, pharmacists are doing the care homes vaccinations to take the pressure off the GP's, combine that with self isolation staff shortages, it was inevitable it would be a slow process

Yeah, this current government is all about looking good, rather than being good.

Or, most governments these last few years, I suppose...

It's like these new "soft restrictions". It's just a setup so that they can blame the public for not following the rules properly, rather than the rules having been poorly communicated and handled from the beginning.

There is a shortage every year. Waited till late October to get it from work last year.

There was potentially excellent news from Australia, as their levels of flu infection were incredibly low this winter. Probably a benefit from the covid-19 measures in place.
