How many on here enjoy the lockdown

Im lucky took early retirement so can just relax

But feel sorry for all the people who have to go to work

And those who have lost their jobs

The only part I'm enjoying is not having to commute to work every morning. I can stay in bed for two hours longer when I work from home

I must say I did like the first phase was on furlough from end march till end of july then got made redundant as the firm lost 85 % of their clients started a new job and am in my 3rd week is a supermarket so will not b furloughed this time round x

Worked thru out.

Nhs nurse.. dont clap im not front line.

Infact its horrible its terrible.. patients more intolerable..more arguing and wanting more n more from every contact..

Soul destroying staff moral very low.

Annoyed bosses sitting at home sending 100 emails telling us how n what to do. Yet we not enough time nor resources to impliment never mind read constant crap.

Sad for those lost the jobs.

Envious of home workers..

My workplace closed 2 weeks before Lockdown was imposed as our business levels has disappeared.

I was retained as Caretaker for our property, along with all staff on Furlough. After 3 months, all but 7 of us were made redundant; I was one of those 7 retained to reopen on August 3rd.

It's been tough going opening first on only 2 nights pw, then opening 5 nights pw. But with new restrictions looming, business has cancelled in bulk, so we revert to 2 days pw from next Sunday till November.

I retire next May but am considering taking early retirement; at the start of next month, I'm paying off the last few months of my mortgage, so I don't have financial arrears to contend with if redundancy hits.

I'm fortunate to be able to cope ok; many others won't be able to.

I've been off since just before my workplace shut - I had to self isolate - and although my workplace has been open since July I'm not back for another two weeks. Been alright for the best part of it. Anxiety for the first couple of weeks and got bored over the past month so I started volunteering again.

Otherwise it’s grim. I hate feeling trapped, and lockdown is a unique sort of feeling trapped.

My office has remained open throughout for which I’m glad.

I’d hate to have to work from home.

Wish I could enjoy. Been working ALL the way through, workload has increased significantly. To the point where we're simply unable to cope with everything breaking and more work getting thrown on us.

Got to the point where I just want to go. Wish I'd have been furloughed. Give myself a chance to relax, not stress and maybe go find a new new job/career

Try working in a chinese place no fuloughing in my job infact we are providing alot of chairs and furniture people are using for offices maniac as a place can be and no one else with english as first language so only interaction i really get is going in the chatrooms. And all that is is guys falsely giving weak compliments and wankin o how this lockdown is kill social lives. O well got a job and saving money

Hell no. I was working an ungodly amount of hours and I missed my social life. Work has calmed down a bit now that most staff are back but I still miss my life as it was before.

Worked all the way through. Loved the quiet roads.

Now been bubbled so work from home most of the month which I’m not keen on especially with winter approaching.

Have upped the outdoor exercise and booked some winter sun holidays otherwise the for walls would drive me mad.

I lost my job and put on nearly 2 stone as I was depressed for losing my job.

So no, I didn’t enjoy lockdown and my mental health is really going to suffer if there is another one... though this time I am better prepared and have less to lose.

It's been fucking shit!

We were stuck 2000 miles apart for over 4 months.

I've not seen my parents this year.

I miss my friends.

I'm waiting much longer than I should be for healthcare cos of the backlogs.

I'm skint.

It's all fucking shite!

But I have J here now at least...

I’m very lucky. No mortgage, I live alone, and I work from home anyway.

My work has enabled me to continue bringing in enough money to carry on almost as normal, financially (a modest income)

I do empathise with others in a worse situation. I do miss physical contact.

Totally pissed off with it,home schooled two moody kids who I practically had to tie to the chairs

And 3 of my 4 kids founds them self's without a job after having worked all through lockdown

Not enjoyed it one bit.

Spent 3 at home on furlough, developed anxiety which I’ve never suffered from before.

Watching loved ones suffer more and more ill effects of being isolated from people and being able to do nothing to help.

Possibly having to lose staff (who are good friends) that need their jobs to survive.

Self employed in the construction industry. So what lockdown.

Dread to think what people who have been furlong at home will be like when they have to return to the grindstone again.

Miss my social and sex life

Wouldn't want to go back to how things were before lockdown...I LOVE working from home and for me and my team at work stress levels have plummeted, productivity and morale are way up

Have managed to miss most of it,had a stroke on 30th December, been in hospital four and a half months fell over at home after discharge and broke a femur. Office in London was closed in April all staff working from home kept in touch. My role has changed while I've been away which is a concern have to say I"m a lucky bastard as employer has been very supportive

enjoying would be a stretch..i got to take a break from work for 6 months,thats been cool..ive spend so much time with my wife and kids..that was awesome...everything moving on from here looks like its gonna be tough

I’ve worked through since March but haven’t been in the office. I know some would consider that fortunate but I am working longer hours

The worst part is not having the “release” from work, it is challenging to find things to do in this Covid world, that help me unwind. My work space is now my house. My home space is my house. My leisure space is my house. When this is always jumbled up, getting away from a work mentality is difficult.

But again, I am lucky, I have a job.
