Haha, not seen the professionals in years. Might have to have a scout around for it.

It does always seem a bit of a silly term to use to us too.

I have not read the opening post, or any other posts in this thread. I have literally clicked to the bottom and added this message.

So I bet I can tell you what the opening post says without reading it...

It will say, why do people put professional on their profiles, is it cos they feel they are better than anyone else, are they all doctors or solicitors ....

I have always believed I have psychic abilities. Am I right in this instance.

They are bot after Barry boys in pimped up corsas, trackies, baseball caps and use innit as the main connective word in a sentence.

We are all discreet and wanting basically the same thing here. So what are these "professional" guys scared of. We are not going to shout from the roof tops that they are on here. We dont bother with anyone having this on their profile and have met some really nice guys.

Sigh...if I come across something on a profile I don't like, ie I'm married, cheating behind my wifes back so don't judge me, I click off and go onto the next profile as that person is not for me. I don't start a holier than thou thread about it, mocking others.

Do you get my drift op?!!

Why is there such lack of folk wanting to meet non professionals. Surely the lure of not showering and stinking of manure, engine oil or chip fat appeals to more than just us

George Orwell in "The Lion and The Unicorn" wrote that England is the most class ridden country under the sun, but that in a splendid example of the hypocrisy for which they are known, the English don't like to talk about class .

"Professional' is a nice 'polite' English way of saying 'middle class' just as 'working class' is a nice 'polite' way of saying 'lower class'.

Obviously he had never been to the Indian sub continent and observed the caste system....
