Life on Earth. I saw it on a placard yesterday at Speakers corner. Mind you, I saw it also on my first trip to London as a child 50 years ago. Don’t think it was the same guy though.

For loads of things there's no reason to wait. My dad is 93 and has unworn clothes in his wardrobe with the tags still on. He's waiting for the right occasion. Without putting too fine a point on it o don't want that right occasion to be his funeral but restraint and moderation is so inbuilt in his generation that he can't get past it.

Don't wait, delayed gratification can be good but it shouldn't be made in to a virtue
