I’m not I to guys, so beards are Nota drama. I tried to grow one, but I couldn’t get on with it.

I’m not into big bushes either.

It is always personal preference. We respect the retro/natural trimmed style but recognize that it is not everyone's choice. However it would be good to be more flexible - often it is more than what meets the eye (wink).

Of course they should but to be fair that wasn’t the question. I’ve had people say they’d shave the beard off for me but I say no. I don’t want people changing for me. I wouldn’t change for anyone.

It's absolutely not offensive to say your preference is for clean shaven - it's more *how* that preference is often stated.

Invariably on threads like this you find the inevitable, and ridiculous, derogatory comments appear, from "Ugh" to "It's unhygienic" to "If I wanted dental floss I'd buy some" etc

And it's when they come out that it becomes offensive - simply stating you prefer a partner to be clean shaven, or indeed hairy, is not in the slightest bit offensive.

Definitely hairy for me when it comes to women. Shaved when it comes to men. Not a deal breaker though.
