One that came from a culture of it enhancing their manliness, their strength etc... What might it consist of?

Tribal war paints exist, why couldn't this have evolved to a social norm in a modern society too?

Concealer sticks are widely used by men to hide blemishes.

I've worn green make-up a few times for military purposes... not convinced it does anything for my sex appeal though.
