That you couldn't get someone out of your head, and what did you do about it?

Yes but not for a long time, when I was younger I stopped seeing a girl I was keen on. I just kept busy and as tine passed the feelings went.

Don't have that problem now though, I find it very easy to detach, not sure if that is an age thing or my heart has turned to stone over the years

Yep. Obsess about them and why they did what they did and generally drive yourself into a pit of despair.

I'm probably not the best person to ask about this

When I first split up with my first long term boyfriend, it took me 4 years and anti depressants to get over that loss. Even though I finished it. Time is the biggest healer. But I think some folk underestimate how much time they sometimes need.

Sometimes you need to allow yourself to feel the hurt and pain, instead of papering over it.

Obsession is a terrible thing.

I have met many ghosts, and it's just not worth obsessing over.

Not in a bad way, no. It's always been win win so far to date. If it wasn't mutual then I'd just avoid them or block I guess....?

I’m going to watch this with interest. My ex bf told ours was the best relationship he’s ever had. He popped up again some months later admitting he misses me and still loves me but then bottles out without seeing me....

I know he’s still single. Argh. Men
