Am looking to book a few days away at the end of November to get away for my 40th.

If you want some sun, Egypt, Canary Islands, Caribbean spring to mind

A lot of the Med resorts will be closed for the season by the end of October.

I went to Majorca for 4 days last November. It was lovely weather for 2 days then pissed down for 2.

It was an intended cheap break and the resort we were in was pretty much shut up but thankfully we hired a car and got about a bit + were close enough to Palma that we managed some nightlife too.

So if you choose the Med, choose your resort carefully !
