Just watching lifers very fascinating and it got me thinking could you forgive a murderer.

I think it depends on why they did it. Watching the guy who killed his wife and how his daughters visit him once a month and that they forgave him for killing their mum. I don't think I could.

Some people who help others with suicide would be considered murderers, so I think it all depends on what's gone on.

Overall, I don't have anything to forgive, and someone doesn't need my forgiveness, if they've not wronged me or my friends/family etc. I accept people for who they are, though I may not extend the full level of trust to everyone that others get, and would be likely wary with violent people etc. That doesn't mean that I wouldn't accept the circumstances of what's happened, and leave it all in the past though.

Really hard one to call , as previous replies depends on ins and outs there are a few hard luck stories about guys and women getting caught up in stuff and having to defend themselves but end up as the villains

depends on their reason for killing someone

If it was a cold unprovoked killing then no

If it was in self defence or because the person they had killed had harmed one of their loved ones then probably yes because the chances are they wouldnt do it again

it woul come down to the individual person and reson for me

I couldnt forgive anyone if they murdered my son or hubby.

I might forgive them if they murdered someone though, depends on the circumstances.

The man on that program, did seem sorry for what he had done, that makes a difference.

His wife didnt deserve to be murdered.

Can understand why he lost his temper with her, but we dont realy know what he was like to live with do we.

You only got his side of the story.

I watched this programme and the guy who killed his wife scared me the most.

There are millions of people who have been cheated on, and yes it hurts. How many of them murder though.

NO!!! my cousins husband stabbed her several times in front of their 3 year old daughter then chased her down the street where their 2 sons were playin football. and i hope the bastard rots in hell!!! no forgivness, no empathy or sympathy for him!! hope he dies a slow painful death!!!
