Just saying

And sometimes - it’s the only word that will do.

I wonder if other countries / languages have the same? Obviously they do - but with the same impact?

Words have no power, its the intent behind them that is important.

I assume those people that don't like it, are put off by the sound and not its meaning, as they also tend not to like moist.

Cunt, The opposite of could?

Personally I dislike it when referring to lady parts, I'd only say it in reference to somebody's bad behavior, but I don't swear very often anyway.

On a mooch

It’s not a word I say and only been used for one person.

The only other time I used to use it was at work after dealing with a few idiots.... as walking away I’d respond “ok I hear you, c you next Tuesday / Thursday”

Its just the most perfect of words used to describe people...I have a group of friends that are funny cunts! I know a few people that are real cunts!! I also know quite a few dopey cunts!! And I know one or two people that when describing them, the word cunt is hissed through gritted teeth!!! Its definitely my favourite word!!!!

I like cunt but not moist.

I agree re intent of words but I think it also depends on how the person takes it. But then I'm aware that my past makes me react differently to things like words than most people.

And it's an old word - first recorded usage in English in 1230 (OED - Gropecunt Lane). Not seen as a taboo word until near the end of the 18th century.

Possible from Germanic. 'kunta' in Old Norse.

Well, it’s a word in English language. There is a time and situation for every word, however it’s not often heard in polite circles.

You can get away with it by inserting stars in the middle!

Ok yes I've been banned for calling someone a cunt. They did deserve it though
