Jeans, 2 questions

The Vicar is very partial to his Levi 501's and has been for many years. Even when he was much larger than he is now he always thought they were well fitted and gave him some shape, unlike other jeans that made it look like his bum reached the back of his knees. So do you have a favourite make of jeans and why?

And.. The Vicar will not go out in jeans if they are not ironed. This seems to devide people, so do you or don't you iorn your jeans.

Technically that's 3 questions.. Dang!

I like the ones with a bit of Lycra in. They fit my arse snug as a bug.

The right place

Does the Vicar iron a crease down the front of his jeans though! I fear that that is an unforgivable sin, and a special place in hell is reserved for such behaviour.

I'm yet to find jeans that fit my bum, thighs and waist well without squashing my arse flat or gaping at the back of my waist.

I struggle a little with jeans. The ones that fit my waist don't fit my legs and are uncomfortably tight, and if they fit my legs I have to go up about two inches on the waist. I do have a wonderful pair of stretchy denim jeans but I can't remember where I got them to buy more

I wear skinny jeans, usually iron them and not bothered about make but i need them to fit well. Always wanted a pair of Levis but they are too expensive.

Levis used to be great but now the quality is crap, especially considering the price.

I wear Wranglers bought in the states which are much better.

In a ball gown because that's how we roll in N. Devon

NSP prefers an M&S Jean but isn't too fussed really.

She never irons them though.

Levis 501 was my go to..and now is just my jeans for gardening

I've found much better jeans quality from other brands, and I've joined the 'slim fit' bandwagon for that silhouetted fit

Sounds very much like there is a gap in market for fitted jeans, ones that actually fit per person.

Never irons creases let's my hot body get rid of any.

Skinny jeans are my style, I have various branded but the most comfortable and my favourites are from river island.

The quality is as good as any Levi’s I’ve had and the fit for my athletic build a perfect.

They really show off my beautifully toned buttocks

I always wear skinny jeans. Not too fussed by the label. I’ve expensive ones to primark ones.

On a guy they also have to be skinny or slim fit.

Boot cut or baggy jeans would really put me off.

Lacey it would be a sin to change the shape of your wonderfully formed arse in any way.

There and to the left a bit

Only ever wear 501s, on the odd occasion I've worn others they've just not felt right - just a shame I don't get my regular business trips to the States any more so I can get them for under £30 a pair.

And yes I prefer to iron them, although if I need a clean pair and haven't ironed them have in the past grabbed them from the ironing pile but prefer not to.

Levi from ebay. Got a few bargains on there. Chose them because they are more comfortable and last longer than other makes.

I used to always wear loose, bootcut as I thought they were comfortable.

But I was persuaded to try a slim fit with (forgotten its name, not lycra) something that gives it a little stretch from River Island. I love them!

They actually feel really good. The slight tightness on my body makes me feel sexy and I look so much better in them.

I don't iron them though.

They don't make 501 jeans to fit my shape. I have quite a deep curve in the small of my back. F&F (Tesco) for me everytime, they fit perfectly x

You get what you pay for as with everything. As smart jeans for men are worn for going out in these days they have to be fitted and comfortable whilst looking good. Going out out it has to be Jacob Cohen or Tramarossa. Everyday jeans are Diesel or Replay.

I can't seem to get on with 501s, they just don't fit right round the waist. Much prefer 504s.

Nudies are the best brand though in my opinion.

Order most of my jeans from eBay now as I find it really hard to get bootcut jeans anywhere else. Can't abide skinny jeans as they make my feet (size 11 and I'm only 5' 8") look even more disproportionately massive than they already are. Sadly though that's all that seems to be available most places on the high street, without paying crazy designer prices anyway.

Hugo boss and Hiut for him, Hiut and Guess for me.

They just fit and feel nice, and guess jeans are great for the booty.

Can’t wear them with creases though so iron as necessary, although they don’t really need much to be honest.

Hello Vicar

I struggle to get jeans to fit me... My current pair slip on and off without even unfastening any of the buttons ... Therefore I have a very good belt!

However, I don't have an iron

Hello Midnight.... I'm sure there are advantages to having your jeans slip on and off easily. I also have a wonderful selection of belts, maybe we should compare?
