accept friend req,then delete

does anyone else do what we do?

if we accept a friend request and there no face pics,we delete it.

it says in profile thats what we will do.

just had a 3rd req of a couple who last week i accepted to find no face pics.i deleted it straight away

the power of the block button has just been used.

Yes we do the same. And if we don't meet or look likely to we remove because pics are personal to us. If we remain friends and look to meet regularly then we keep people on our list. Personally prefer to swap mug shots than add friends willy nilly. Our friends list is very short through choice. Don't see the point in collecting a mass of contacts.

it doesnt bother that there arent face pic until maybe there is a meet being arranged. but its when they dont bother to actually speak x really annoys me and i head for the delete button.

I personally don't have face pics in my friend gallery as I keep them in pvt... Generally happy to share them tho if requested.

Yeah same here.

We consider those sort of friend request without a message to just be an invitation to view their friends only pics

After all, it's what they were trying to do to us.

it does get my goat when people request friends and there are no face pics there

so i now have to resort to subterfuge and wait til they are of line til i accept

except forumites of course - ur allowed to be crafty lol

Luckily or unluckily I spose, we dont get many friends requests but when we do and they are random ones we just delete and block...we ask people to send a little message and at least say 'why' they want to add us...if they cant be bothered then nor can we.......

After having my photo's "used" by someone else, I now never ever add people to my friends list unless I've met them in person and become friends

Our face pics are set to Private (in other words they don't even appear in the Private Gallery accessible to Friends. BUT.. we ALWAYS send face pics with our intro message our of courtesy, and like to get the same in return. If we don't see face pics - ya don't get on our friends list - am not going to have our private pics available to anyone - even for a moment, if they won't show us themselves.

Our face pics are set to Private (in other words they don't even appear in the Private Gallery accessible to Friends. BUT.. we ALWAYS send face pics with our intro message our of courtesy, and like to get the same in return. I've spoken to people and they've sent a friend's request. I don't accept until they're off.line then look at their pics. If there's no face pic I delete friends request. Notice some of these have no qualms about showing the face of female playmates with their mouths clamped onto their little chapy!

I have friends on my list I'll never meet but it's nice to know who you're talking to so don't mind sharing.

I've got hundreds upon hundreds of friend requests, my general rule is to only accept people I'm keen to meet or have met.

I no longer delete the friend requests I receive as if I do, it means that person can re-send it whereas if I leave it sitting there they can't request me over and over again - I love this!!
