My forties have been fantastic, the best advice I can give you is to enjoy your life and don't be afraid to try new things (I don't mean sexually, unless of course you want to) and do things that make you feel happy.

I have never felt more alive as I do since being in my forties, it may sound silly but I now feel like I live my life and I enjoy my life.

A lot of this can be because my kids are growing up, my career is in a good place, my finances are comfortable, I am in a blissful relationship and I am physically fitter than I have ever been. But also I have chosen to step away from family who are emotionally poisonous because I actually don't need them in my life or that of my children.

My forties started miserable from day one, but I decided it wasn’t going to stay like that.

I’ve loved my 40s (despite the things that have gone wrong) and as I head into my final couple of months I couldn’t be happier, the 50s will rock

Get out there, grasp life with both hands, leave the past and fears behind, don’t be afraid to try new things, take those risks as if you don’t nothing will change.... you Bly you can make the change !
