Bloody digital version??? Seems a rip to me.

I’m waiting to see what the specs are and if it’s backwards compatible. And for them to iron out the bugs.

I'm not clear why I would buy digital versions of a game when I can get physical versions for cheaper - and then sell them when I'm done with them.

'Mostly' backward compatible with PS4.

Almost all of the 100 most played games are fully compatible, and thousands in total, but not all.

XB is doing an interesting job of it as apparently oyster is backward compatible with XBOne, 360 and the original XB

Is that turns out to be true, that's bloody impressive.

Hmmmm yes and no, I'm an xboxer tbh, and looking for the release of the new 1 but the last few months I've been researching into building a home pc that will do all my gaming/downloading/streaming to a 60" 4k tv/monitor

Digital all the way for me.

I've got kids and they destroyed 4 copies of Minecraft before I bought a digital copy.

I now love not having to hunt down discs, and have boxes cluttering up my house.

PC (which I already have) and a Series S on subscription (at £20.99 pretty month) for me, as it comes with XBox Game Pass Ultimate (PC & XB games Netflix like library), XCloud (streamed games), EA Access (EAs digital games) and I get a small console that the can sit by the TV.

I'll pick up a PS5 when it drops in price to play the exclusives on.

I’ll have to visit store or try another site when they go live missed on game and smyths boooo

Games are 69.99 so that’s a nice 20£ increase ouch.

Think will be awesome based on stuff seen on launch video but probably need get new tv and everything

Will get both the Xbox and ps5 at some point but probably not bother for launch, currently looking at getting hold of an rtx 3080 for a new build PC.

Not bothering for launch, which is the first time since PS3. By the time the price had come down to a reasonable level (disc version), there are a good selection of games and they realise the HDD is too small, then I'll probably get one. Glad to see it's compatible with my PSVR though

I’ll be hoping to preorder when another retailer drops it at midnight. I’ll get the physical edition as I tend to buy the collectors editions of the games, which typically includes a lovely steel book for the disc.

I always get special edition games my man cave full of statues and extra stuff.

I’ve gone physical for same I enjoy purchasing games and having extra bits.

Never had a slim one

All my ps are launch day models so always normal ones

Tv style I thinks preference. If in living room I have larger tv in man cave I have 21” but sit closer and different feel to gaming

Prices been getting adjusted most now £50 so not much difference than ps4.
