Merseyside

My Mrs asked " You know that bloke, Jurgen Klopp. Is he the manager of Everton or Liverpool ?"

Equally, had she told me about whatever is going in Corrie, Towie, Britains got talent etc etc i would have been equally clueless.

Apart from the obvious do men & women have that much in common ?

Some men and women can have loads in common, some maybe not so much. Really depends on what your interested in.

Different interests doesn't mean you can't understand each other or live in separate worlds.

Not this one. I can name every premier league manager but wouldn’t have a clue what’s going on in any of the programmes you mentioned.

I have no idea about 'any' of that!

I guess I've nothing in common with men or women

I have zero interest in football or soaps, but I’m fascinated with quantum physics and irony.

Favourite music or gig that you're missing? That sort of conversation is much more up my street unless we are going to talk about cars or shoes

There and to the left a bit

I can dip my foot into both sides - can give you a synopsis of what's currently happening in Corrie and equally talk with passion about all that's happening with Spurs currently

Whilst having things in common with people of the opposite sex is of course important, having different opinions and tastes can be equally important - either so either person can be introduced to them to allow joint and shared passions to evolve, or to allow time apart, or simply to provide lively discussion and debate - it's only when you allow those differences to be a problem that they become a problem.

On a mooch

I’d say I have more in common with men than women when it comes to interests and topics for discussion. The typical girlie topics of hair, makeup, clothes, celebrities, shopping, pampering, who do you like, etc has never been my thing. But equally if men start going on about cars I look at them blankly, it’s a piece of metal that someone else drives.... my lad is trying to teach me, unsuccessfully

Yep.... I've no clue about any of that there I'm afraid OP. Talk to me about Exeter Chiefs, lifeboats or painting though and we are cooking on gas!
