... On profiles with no photos...

How can you verify that someone is who they say they are on their profile if they have no photos??

Another one is verifications on profiles that have only photos of one half of a couple.. it's same question as above really though.

Well you can only verifiy from meeting in person or cam so i assume they are going to show themselves. They might also have photos that they just send out to people they want to meet

if you have met them then you can verify they are real, turned up as said etc, you dont need pics to say i met this person

I look at it differently - a veri is confirming someone is real, their attitude, manners and personality!

Not whether their pics are up to date or anything else. I've met those with no pics and happily left veri's as at the end of the day their profile content was enough to arouse my interest and I've been happy with the meet!

yes you can meet someone in person but that still doesnt verify that they are who they say they are,,, there could be 4/5 people using that profile... and your then saying that they are real... without a photo to compare the meet to how can you say that they are really the person on the profile that they next person is talking to?

Considering most profiles don't contain face pics - what are you saying?

That we need to verify that the bum seen in a profile is representative of the one you got your hands on!

I understand where you're coming from - but have never had to consider putting a 'they look just like their pics' line into a veri. And I've never come across multiple users of a profile (apart from if course couples!) - so haven't ever considered that!

I'm sure that people will have sent out pictures of everyone involved in the meet beforehand. The pictures will just be private between the people involved, not for public consumption.

You're making issues where there are none. People will swing and arrange meets their own way, just get on with how you do things for your own best interests.

Let me see if I can work it out , Your saying people should have a face picture on profile so everyone can see so that when you verify them it is the person in the picture and not just some random person that then uses the same profile.

If that was me I would just by pass the profile after reporting it as being fake .

Perhaps but for the examples i was thinking of there was no private gallery and no pics on profile... and webcamming has just the same problem as meeting in person.. you don't actually know that who is is on cam is who usually uses the profile.. but as i said... question answered,,, so if you could be so kind as to close the thread that would be wonderful.

just because people do not have pics on show either in private or public does no t mean they do not have pictures on their profile just they chose who gets to see them and when.

We have two pics that can be sent in mails and they are not showing that we have them on our profile, I think only friends and public pics are counted ( going by whats on ours anyway )

If webcamming isn't enough to tell anyone that that is the person on the profile, then pics are not either?

open forum: I can verify this was the profile of someone spamming with the 2hunters profile...possibly lol.Anyway..it made absolutely no sense to me.....I can never be to sure whos on the other side of the computer unless i can see them and they interact with me..I can verify them when its most likely Ive met them...I dont shag thin air

Same as if they have pictures and change then I would have thought. Nothing is static, a verification is a snapshot judgement in time and not to be taken too seriously as we see them.

I would assume that if you were verifying a profile with no photos then you were verifying the profile itself,if you've met the people then photos are a moot point.

Personal verifications are for - Meeting in person - Phone - Webcam.

There's ways around the first two and I suspect not many people would have a meet without seeing a pic first.

After the meet you're verifying the profile and the fact they actually exist. Nothing else. Which is why a lot of people take little notice of verifications
