Thing is we all have words we do/don't feel comfortable with using - some may be based on local slang and usage, some may have deeper connotations, most of them I'm not going to get hot under the collar about someone else using them unless they're particularly and generally held to be derogatory or used in a derogatory way.

Yes, some of them can be a little cringey, and some of them may cause me to roll my eyes when I see them, especially in a context that is odd, but I'll mostly ignore.
