If fab gave you the option to rewrite verifications or even delete them, would you?

I'm sure that there have been times when someones behaviour has changed markedly after a meet, when the sweet woman or gentlemanly guy has blanked or ghosted you after receiving their veri. Would you go back and rewrite it?

No. If something particularly unpleasant happened between the person and I I'd block the person which removes the veri. Otherwise I think of it as a snapshot of a particular moment in time - my veri was a reflection of that and even though the relationship changed, it was a honest view on how I saw them at the time.

I'd delete them yes. If I've bigged someone up and then it turned out they were a shitty human I'd feel like I would be partly responsible if they shitty human'd someone else. It would be in my mind that my veri *could* have been the clincher in them making the decision to meet.

Chances are it wouldn't be, but you never know.

No as it is as it was at the time, I’d find it quite petty and childish if some wished to after a later date.

Easy to remove if something happens afterwards, just block and the very disappears with them.

If I’d found out that my initial impression was very wrong and my opinion had changed for the worse to that degree I’d block them anyway so it was removed.

If they behaved like an idiot or proceeded for example to disclose personal messages or information after the meet. Then me saying they were trustworthy would have turned out to be false.

That's fair, although in less extreme cases, if you said that they were a gentleman then it turns out that they clearly weren't, wouldn't that warrant a rewrite?

And I do understand that and why you'd want to. It's better to know sometimes Speaking from my personal experiences (only one but it counts ) I blocked and that resolved it for me. I've not had particularly horrible experiences on the whole, yeah sometimes I pop people off the pedestal but relationship dynamics are constantly evolving and if I changed a veri every time my mood on someone changed because of an incident, I'd be better off not writing any.

Very true.

I think that if a person uses your veri as a reprentation of who they are and it encourages others to meet them, if that representation proves to be false or manipulated, then being able to change it would be helpful.

The veri system is meant to be to show that you're real but as so many use it as trip advisor, shouldn't that be reflected in its usage?

That's the thing if it was only to prove you were real, we wouldn't need to write anything it should just be a badge like photo verification. But it is not people do base some form of opinion based on verifications, it's only human.

Nah, there's enough drama played out via statuses and the forum without veris being brought into it. I've never fallen out with anyone I've met, but if I ever really regretted what I had said I'd block them. That said, I leave every 5mins anyway so my comments are never around that long!

Honestly I think blocking is the better option as it removes both veris, I am assuming (as with most social media sites) you can only delete things from your own profile.

i think if someone acts badly towards you after it could be a number of things.

the meet didnt live up to their expectations.

once they have met someone they never talk to them again (this does happen).

never take it personally, you had your fun and for whatever reason people dont want a repeat and move on.

life takes us down many different roads.
