As I support Arsenal (louisea) and my hubby supports Spurs I'm a happy bunny this opening season weekend as Arsenal won and Spurs lost

How are you feeling about the new season and r u happy with the start your team has made

It will be different that's for sure, at least until supporter's return (whenever that may be)

Not at all happy with my teams opening display, even if they did win.

My 3 teams for relegation are Villa

Fulham

West Brom

.. with out fans ,no one will fear going to these places and playing them ,teams like these need home support to make up for their lack of ability at the top level.

The mighty whites will be OK this season. We have one of the best managers in the world, have made some good signings and play in the right way. As the season progresses we will learn and the mistakes which cost us against Liverpool will be gone. I'm really excited and encouraged for this season. C'mon you Leeds!

Hoping for some reinforcement signings as, although was a comfortable win last week, we will definitely struggle with the increased number of games this season.

Yeah I enjoyed the "friendly" welcome we got at your place last season. Shame Macaulay Bonne won't be there for us to abuse next time we're in town.

No live sport sucks massively. I've got footy, cricket (T20) and rugby league ST's and armchair viewing just ain't the same.

Good team to watch are Villa (especially when they're smashing the Scousers ) and nice to see Barkley showing a bit of consistency. Always had the ability but seemed destined to be another of those "what if's?" Along with the likes of Wilshire, J Cole etc. Can't see them lasting the course but top 10 definitely achievable. How do you reckon this team would do against the early 90's side of Atkinson, Daley etc?

Money bags Salford will always get a 'friendly' welcome from us in east London.

Guess the salary cap introduced at our level may scupper your plans to buy your way to promotion

Good quality first half between City and Liverpool yesterday but very cagey 2nd period.

I guess Reds were happy to settle for the draw....

Lots of late drama at West Ham and an awful penalty from Fulham's Lookman!..

I would drop him from the team for that!

So as we go into international break Leicester are top of PL and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer managed to hang on to his job at Man Utd...

Wouldn't be a problem for me or most Salford fans tbh. Let's be honest the money got us out of non-league which tends to be the way with pretty much any team.

I'm more than happy to watch a salary capped sport tbh, like you say it's not always that much fun just watching teams throw millions at it.

Salford Rugby have shown what can be achieved on little money, small crowds but with great coaching and astute recruitment.

Now that would be worth the watch it would be a tough call that team was dangerous back then big loss losing dalian the way he died.

But the team we have now is, something for us to build on grealish barclay supurb combo they'll give a few defences a good run around.
