I think the holiday bit would be too much for me. I would not want someone involved THAT much in my life I spent a week plus with them away. This would cross the line into a full relationship for me.

I like the idea of someone who I can hang out with, watch films with, etc, who I also enjoy having sex with. I've had a few down the years who met that criteria but it's difficult to keep those kind of arrangements going because it's a weird amount of effort and involvement to maintain with someone, plus they might meet someone to be a in a relationship with.

Not just women had a fwb couple years ago was fine for few months we met once a week had picnics on beach etc then back to his for fun ! I have recently met somebody on here who I would consider to be a FWB. I am married and yes my wife knows as do I about her meets. For me this arrangement is more about friendship than just sex. I enjoy the social side as much as the opportunity to experiment sexually too. I do think as has been mentioned above, holidaying may be a bit too far for me as I am married and my wife will always come first. If both parties were single then really anything goes. FWB can mean different things to different people and I think its something you just have to keep on discussing. Make it something that you are both happy with what you get out of it.
