Making your mind up

Reading a book about "the curious science of everyday lives" and wondering how one makes up their mind on fab about others?

How do you make your mind up about another person on here? What matters to you when you make a call whether to continue or accept someone's interest?

Love the feeling of a 'connection'. To me that's an intergral part of a meet. I've had fuck and go meets in the past and they've done nothing for me. Perhaps I enjoy the chase?

I think you have to take it one step at a time chatting is a good way to see if you are comfortable and have a interest with each other then see were it leads. As for ticketing all the boxes is a personal preference.

I like consistency, check ins from time to time, humour and innuendo. There should be a natural rhythm and speed to it. Not straight hop to sexy things.

I like being able to chat and have a good laugh with someone initially. If it's like pulling teeth chatting, I stop.

There does also have to be attraction of course, but if someones hot and dull, I lose interest.

I don't think it's a question of me "making my mind up" as opposed to my mind being made up for me as a result of interaction I've had with people - every single person I've met has been through getting chatting to them through the forums, and there has always been something in the way they post that has naturally drawn me to them - we've then found a connection, through chatting to each other over a period of time, to sufficiently decide naturally that meeting would be a good next step.

And when you find that "click" that's when your mind is made up - I have never deliberately "gone looking" for people to meet, it's always happened organically and naturally - now some of those meets have only been one offs, some of them a little more, but all have been good - you can't truly know until you actually meet of course but when you know and everything just flows naturally from text to in person it's a great feeling.

I’m here as I have a few fantasies to act out and hopefully some friendships or night outs. So initially I may not be ‘into’ someone but if we get on a topic or start to see some common ground, then I can be flexible.

I'm fairly flexible as to who I engage with as I like to suss people out on my own.

Me and Ash are actually very very different in almost everything but we work.

I stick to my core values and beliefs but I think that if you are to fixed on the person you are looking for you will often end up disappointed and potentially miss out on meeting some amazing people.

I'm very glad me and Ash took a chance on eachother.

Connection is very important. It's the key. They can have the best of everything you want but without connection it is just that much less in quality of enjoyment.

Respect helps a lot to.

Listening...

I can go on. But at the top is finding the connection. That's exploration or Discovery. We are already here seeking and then we want to discover if there is a connection to build on.

I think I get what he meant - or at least this is my take...it's when you find someone where the conversation just flows naturally and instinctively without pausing to think about it or having to think of something to say - when you find that then you know it's a good thing

How the chat goes, if its easy, great. If they are only here when they are wanting wank fodder, it goes nowhere. If they get touchy or short tempered, impatient, because I cant meet soon, I will move on.

If we seem to be like minded, have core values in common, sense of humour, and we find each other sexy, result!
