That awkward stage ...

A little village

... when you’re almost 9 weeks pregnant and not sure if your round tummy looks like a baby or just a bit of disproportionate podginess. Do I explain myself to random strangers? Or just embrace the newfound podiginess? Is it in any way sexy?! Argh so many ridiculous questions.

Your in box will shortly (if it isn't already) be bursting at the seems. Pregnancy is a big turn on for lots of men.

Never explain anything about how your body looks is my motto.

Congratulations

You owe nobody an explanation about why your body might look different, embrace that little bump and who cares if someone thinks you look a little bigger?

I think seeing a woman pregnant is beautiful! And don't worry, you're still sexy, although I find it a little creepy when men get turned on by it.

I definitely looked better at 37 weeks pregnant than I currently do now!! I felt so good about myself throughout pregnancy.

Congratulations lovely.

Embrace it, you don't have to explain to anyone, especially to people you don't know.

A little village

Thanks lovely people. It’s been one hell of a rollercoaster so far with a scary hospital admission that was a bit touch an go. Discharged on a cocktail of meds after being rehydrated via IV a number of times. I dare I may finally be able to say I’m creeping towards slightly glowing. But don’t want to speak too soon. What a scary and vulnerable time.

Thank you for the love

I think I’m owed some sort of glow after the horrific ride of the first trimester!!! I feel short changed if not!
