Dear friends Fabbers and Forumites.

I hope this evening finds you, happy , safe and relaxed .

I have had one of the best days in a long time . Not to say that i am ever glum .

I borrowed a friends pooch , who i know so well. We had the two amazing walks . The sun shone , the views breathtaking and the company perfect. We had heaps of cwtches and the best chats . I talk to dogs the way i talk to any friends out loud and about everything.

We visited a wonderful woodlands that i havent been in since my best pal Pooch passed away . Some glorious memories and yes a few tears.

So what you smile today chums share with your pals

My day was rubbish to be honest, kids have been a nightmare & I've pulled my calf at spin class on the bright side the Mr walked in the door 20 minutes ago limping because he's gone ove on his ankle playing badminton so seeing made me laugh and feel a little better a bit sadistic I know but it's funny

Ridiculously busy at work, no exercise again, not the best dietary choices. I've got food in the cupboards, money in the bank and friends who I can text. So why do I feel so very sad and alone atm. Wish I shake this feeling.

My Mrs left me 8years ago with 3 children, I left my job as I have no family to help and we had just moved here so don't know anyone. I didn't even know how to use the washer and to put a plate in a 4year girls hair is just witch craft. Lol I wake up every day thankful, to see your own children smile is priceless. Hope everyone's day is getting better big hugs micky. X

Sounds lovely Taff.

What made me smile is surprisingly doing homework with kids. How clever they are.. them sharing they are not struggling with academic side after 6 months just made me feel good about the work we did at home during this time. Something I was bit worried about!

My two cats that are trained like ninjas at being mishievous. As I came down stairs earlier, one of them stuck upstairs while the living room door was ajar, the other was sat on top of the fridgefreezer. Both outable offences. Was feeling soft however so they're both sleeping on the rug now.

Got chatting over pm, took it to instant messaging fairly quickly because WOW she's incredible, what a match! Ended up losing 2hrs in a call - i love when you meet that rare someone who you hear that audible CLICK with I think our cheeks hurt

I treated myself to fish & chips from my local chippie, 1st time in ages & I just fancied it.

On the way there the most beautiful multicolored cat approached me (he had patches of black brown and orangey fur!)

I stopped and bent down to let him sniff my hand to see if he was friendly and he really was, he mewewd at me, nuzzled his head into my legs as I stroked him.

No idea who he belonged to, but we shared a moment, & he put a smile on my face.

I made a sweet bouquet gift for a colleague that's leaving work and moving overseas for a new life in Spain. I was very pleased it came out so well. She's in a different team, so not been able to physically catch up with her since March. Another workmate collected it and is going to leave it on her desk tomorrow when she goes in to collect the last of her belongings.

I really, genuinely belly guffawed for the first time in a long time.

On the advice line thread and a certain someone all sly like, took the piss out of me in a way that was genius.

I laughed aloud the whole way through.

Ha ha, good story OP.

It was a good day.

Evenings are always tougher then rest of the day because of loneliness.

However, music always keeps me company.

I smiled for lots of reasons today...

My run was great this morning as my boyfriend came out too.

I have done some retail therapy with my daughter this evening and had a really good laugh with her.

And my boyfriend and I decided today that we will be visiting north Wales this weekend for camping, paddleboarding, running and walking.... and I haven't stopped smiling about it

Her x
