I have creed and to be honest don’t actually rate it as my best. I prefer Thameen’s as I’ve posted but that’s twice the price of Creed Aventus. I wanted to like Creed more but feel it doesn’t deserve it’s hype. Sauvage gets me more compliments.

the abyss

What has he got already? The problem with any perfume/aftershave is that it may smell amazing on one person and crap on another so I wouldn't spend a huge amount unless you know it works well on the skin!

Some not so pricey I've found smell yummy are:

Chanel Blue

Dior Sauvage

Paco Robane Pure XS

Creeed, stronger (intensely) they are the only two I really like but it’s very personal taste , musky vs sweet vs citrus etc all very different, pop into a shop with some coffee beans and try loads out

Every fucker is wearing creed and sauvage I prefer someone to have more of a unique scent personally.

Surely this is a really personal question depending on what scents they like?

The creed copy is called Pure Adventis and is not bad at all for £75 but the real benefit of the original is the smell evolves and changes over 12 hours

I'd agree with this - bloody lovely it is, and the original Giorgio Armani pour homme.

For retro, how about Hai Karate
