Sex is good and all that, but I'm at least 50% here for the music recommendations, preferably new stuff . Anyone got any gems we NEED to listen to?

I'm a bit obsessed with Billy Nomates, Supermarket Sweep just now. It gets extra points for featuring the Sleaford Mods dude.

What genres are you into, Lana?

I'm very big on indie, alternative, blues and garage rock so if any of that interests you I'd be happy to make some recommendations

If you want to hear something completely different to your usual indie stuff, check out the album One More Once by Michel Camilo, and enjoy the last days of summer!

This what I put on when we have a barbecue. It's also a good one for dancing around the kitchen naked to.

The new Sault album Untitled (Black Is) is amazing & they have a follow up due any day now. Other than that I took a revisit to Spook the Herd by Lanterns on the Lake last night & remembered how great that is too. Other than that, Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever’s album has a lovely beach poppy vibe to it, Girl Ray - Girl is just flat out fantastic & Fetch the Bolt Cutters by Fiona Apple is just the right amount of insane to be perfect!

Also, shame on me, I forgot to mention J Lloyds new album - if youre a fan of Jungle (the band not the genre), which coincidentally has something to do with Forever Living Originals which is the record label Sault have released their 3 albums on! Ties in nicely.

Cigarettes After Sex are divine, Apocalypse is gorgeous! I love Metronomy too as well as Baxter Drury - it’s scary how similar to his dad he is!

As for Billie Eilish - James Blake does the most heavenly cover of “when the party’s over”
