can someone get the remote for the television for me? I can't be arsed getting off the couch, but I've had as much Songs of Praise as I can stand

If things are that bad - just grab the nearest heavy object and chuck directly through the screen.

Then tomorrow morning phone the insurance company and blame the cat!

Hey presto - an evening devoid of singy god botherers - and the prospect of a shiny new TV to play with!

Alternatively go on Ebay and buy one of those TV remote control watches - only a couple of quid and you'll never be more than an arms length from the remote ever again!

Just because I own one of said watches does not make me a geek!

Especially since I haven't worked out how to sync it to my TV!
