Maldon

I enjoy watching it but more for the French countryside and the commentary on landmarks rather than the actual cycling.

I so want to move there!

Somewhere In The Ether…

I love looking at the sweeping fields of lavender and the beautiful and quaint little villages the cyclists pass through to.

Only problem is: I wish they’d slow down so that I could get a longer look

Out n About

Agree with you, it would be great to ride the route at a much slower speed and be able to take in the scenery and experience the people etc more

You can pick a house up for around ten thousand euro so that’s most peoples credit card so it’s very doable if you want it.

Our sparky brought one blind for 6,000e and it’s a lovey place with land and a big barn.

Was chatting to a fabber that found a mill with about six out buildings and land for 34,000e but it went the day he wanted to put a offer in.

Don’t dream it live it!!!

Might pop along to the Tour tomorrow as it’s only two hours away.

I’m amazed no one has died on the tour in this heat.

Must say - if you live in France then there are cycle races all the time.

The Maire of my small town is a very keen cyclist so we often are involved as a “depot” for breaks in the races.

However if you get stuck behind one it’s not so interesting.

"Anyone else following the final leg of the Tour today? "

Yes, just over 20km to go in the most epic race of human endurance known to man
