Flexibility and sex

I have only very recently begun a daily morning exercise regime to help improve my flexibility.

I do a 30 -45 min (time dependant)

Workout consisting of stretches, pilates and yoga moves.

My aim is to improve my flexibility and muscle strength over time so that I am less likely to incur any strains, sprains or muscle pains in my daily life, and ESPECIALLY in my sex life!

In only 3 weeks I have already seen the benefit of this, and plan on continuing.

Feel free to comment on what excercises you do to help your strength stamina and flexibility in the bedroom.

Can you do the splits?

Do squats help with being able to do cowgirl position longer?

And general fitness tips to keep workouts interesting are appreciated.

This is a good shout!

I could do with doing similar. I used to do bits of toning stuff, that fell by the wayside 2 years ago.

It definitely helps. I find running improves my sexual stamina massively, providing I can resist exploding Early on

Thank you.

I am trying to make this a daily habit.

They say you can make or break a habit in 40 days and I am about 3 weeks in to this new regime & it is going well.

I find doing this as part of my morning routine before breakfast actually helps me loosen up for the day ahead.

Delightful Bliss

Holding ballet poses strengthen my core position, but you must warm up and stretch out first, muscle cramps really hurt...

Cardio I do resistance walking in the sea and fast paced hikes across the forest mixed with up and down hill to keep my legs in tone

I do a mixture of free weights, HIIT, impact cardio, daily intermittent fasting {16:9}, and high fiber/high protein/low carb food. Energy has never been higher, keeps you lean and feeling good.

Might sound silly/obvious but staying hydrated is really important for flexibility. I’m pretty bendy but if I’m feeling stiff when I woke up it’s usually after not drinking enough water the day before

‘I’ve just taken up yoga, the instructor asked how flexible I was, I said I can’t make Tuesday and Thursday’s!’

Liverpool

I used to be able to do the splits until I tore an adductor which funnily enough are also the muscles I find gets most sore after being on top a lot . Not sure if squats help, can't say I noticed a difference myself. I'd say it's more just general fitness.

I’ve recently started working out a lot more and doing a lot more press-ups to help me with my upper body

I dance contemporary..well did until beginning of this year. So lots of barre work and splits and gawd only knows what else. My work can be similar in that it involves a lot of flexibility....it certainly increases and helps with greater sexual pleasure
