Here, there and everywhere!

Can't help on sciatica but as someone who is riddled with arthritis I'd suggest pain killers, ibuprofen and a soak in the bath.

That's assuming of course your bad back let's you get into the bath!

Heat can help temporarily. There are some daily exercises that may work depending on where you get it. Mine has flared up with drop in temperatures.

Thanks I’ll have a look. Did find some gentle stretches to do but atm it’s that painful I’m struggling. Seems sitting still is the worst possible thing to do

Speak to your doctor and ask him/ her to recommend physio that will help. Certain stretching exercises can help.

Stretch. Pilates was my cure for lower back and shooting leg pain.

But my general takeaway about Sciatica from the doctors I saw was if you can still type / talk / walk, even if uncomfortable, you haven't actually got Sciatica.

Sports massage can help.

I also used to use a tennis ball. Place onto where pain is from and stand against wall and move up and down on the ball - like a massage. (Hope that makes sense!)

My mum had to have intense pain management and exercises... In desperation she also had reiki and massages and even went to see a chiropracter too i think at one stage. Her Dr was not very happy... Felt she was rushing and at risk of doing more damage, but she was crying with pain for most of the day and couldn't sleep at all.

She had it for almost 2 years

She spoke very highly of the reiki... The massage gave her around 24 hours relief.. During those times she was like a different person
