The big question

For me it is simple no makeup.

Hear is why.

Waking up next to someone seeing them as they truly are is sexy.

imperfections are what make ppl real and will always be more beautiful damn those that strive to be be all the same and strive to be society corporate idea of perfection.

Beauty is subjective each to there own flavor at the end of the day.

I would like to get male and female perspective on this subject

Love a girl in heavyish make up on a date or for a photo shoot it’s like part of the ritual, she puts on her ear paint for me. Strong dark eye make up , better than sex mascara, and rouge Dior lipstick, easy with the foundation though !

Also love a girl with no make or just a subtle bit of eye shadow.

Both are beautiful and sexy - in different ways

If won't even hang the washing out without putting lipstick on.

I always take my make up off before bed so anyone asking up next to me will see the unmade up face.

Nobody I've had casual sex with seems to care much what I've got on my face.

What about guys ? Anyone brave enough to admit to wearing make up , I (MR) have let my daughters do mine a couple times for fun when we’ve been on dates, or for visa photos, just a subtle bit of mascara and powder , I’m fine with it. And confess to using toner in the morning, it’s like non stingy aftershave, love the stuff lol ....

I never have a 20p to plug my straightners in, I need to invent solar powered ones, I could use them on the beach too

That is the ideal time you wake up next to somebody hair all over the place no make-up on and you get that mmm cheeky smile

Wouldn't recommend marriage tho been there done that never again another of societies in corporate expectations

I've never been camping and glamping isn't something that appeals either. I didn't even know you had to put 20p in to use the power

I will not leave the house without make up on. Haven't for years.

As for other women, I like them to come however they feel most comfortable.

However, as an ex makeup artist, I do love seeing the looks people create

Make up gives me confidence. After teenage years of hellish skin you sort of get used to putting it on all the time.

Past few years I’ve eased it and don’t mind the school run with no make up, but still love how I feel with it on x

My ex always preferred me without any make up and frequently told me how beautiful i am without it which of course is super nice to hear.

I have ALL kinds of photos on fab, bare face, lightly done make up, over the top, etc

For me make up is part of the 'feel in the mood' and experience. Its almost like a war paint. A mask as you will..

Make up for me.

I know that my partner loves me without it as well as with it so I don't feel self conscious if I'm not wearing any around him, however I wouldn't go to work without wearing any make up.

It is also a form of relax for me when I can play with different colours and it makes me feel more confident.

I wear minimal makeup these days. I like to wear a bit of tinted moisturiser and some blusher day to day. I’d wear mascara too but it ALWAYS runs on me.

I don't wear makeup - my effort for work involves wearing vaseline and if I'm meeting someone/on a date I might push the boat out with mascara and a neutral eyeshadow.

I think it's partly a sensory thing, I hate the feeling of heavy makeup on my face or foundation etc. I also had awful acne so stayed away from anything that could worsen it. I also like my natural look, I grew up think my face is really cute without altering it and I still think it is now. My mum was a full face when taking the bins out sort and I would much rather spend the time reading/studying.

Sometimes I'm tempted to try something different but that lasts all of a hot minute. I'd love to have an appointment with a mua but it all looks quite... well not me. A black mua who gets my skin tone and things that look on me would be nice one day.

It's so not the same and I'm speaking from a position of privilege here (I'm fully aware that the beauty industry caters to me)... I had a couple of Mac lessons to learn how to do my makeup. The first one was from a black MUA. Just happened to be so. They're definitely out there, particularly with more inclusive brands (Mac is better than many although there are better - obviously accessibility/ affordability comes into it).

Any good makeup artist will be able to colour match you and use colours to compliment your skin tone, doesn't need to be someone of colour.

I've done makeup for just about every shade and tone of skin...you always have to colour match and always use the same principles.

You have a gorgeous face, and are obviously beautiful without the slap....but I would love to paint ya

I wear minimal make up. I'm lucky to have reasonable skin (the new phenomenon of "mascne" notwithstanding) and cba loads of eye make up. What you see at 9pm is very like what you'd wake up next to at 6am. Perhaps a bit more flushed, with any luck....

As a TV,I generally need makeup to look acceptable and not a bloke in a dress.However I've a couple of recent pics on my profile which are the bare minimum I can get away with A little bit of stubble camouflage a light foundation,and a very pale nude lipstick

Just putting it out here... For a date or whatever I usually wear a lot of makeup and I love it. Playing with makeup is something I enjoy and I like the way I look. I don't do it for anyone else other than myself though.

Love wearing it and experimenting with different looks. I’m a long way away from being really good as I don’t have a certain look I go for. But on occasions I think ‘good job’ false eyelashes and different shades of lipstick you just can go crazy with it.

As previous stated, the next morning I’ll look totally different as will my pillow (if I don’t remove it)

One of my favourite rituals with one of my favourite people is, we meet, we start kissing, I notice my foundation all over his face and wipe it off

I am as happy fresh faced as I am fully made up.

Makeup does emphasize my features and I do like to wear it, but I can take it or leave it.

I never wear makeup to work, only a little bit of powder.

I find it a pain to have to remove a full face of slap at the end of a night out before bed, and you need to do this to let your skin breathe as well as to avoid getting mascara all over your pillow!

Draw a line extending from the end of your lower lash line. Use an eyeliner pencil, more foolproof, and do it in dots which you join up.

I'm not very good at it, but that's the idea.
