" Have to agree with you bubbilicious, but I (Pork) don't think they are just bandwagon jumpers - I think it's that so many young guys get there 'impression' of Swinging from the proliferation of easy-access porn these days - and porn is NOT Swinging! When I first got into this strange little World over 25yrs ago, Swinging was all about sharing sexual experiences with others - rather like sexual networking. It certainly wasn't just about getting laid. So, would I call FabSwingers a 'sex-site'? Not in the modern definition of 'sex-site', no. There are plenty of others out there which are, but Fab seems to be able to keep the 'old-fashioned' ideal of what Swinging is about alive and well. And long may it continue.....

Playing devil's advocate here - but i've been in scenario's on here where both couples and single females have taken great offence when i've politely declined to meet them - so please don't tar all with the same brush! Likewise - when I used to attend clubs (which I no longer do - does that make me a definate 'non-swinger'?) there was a similar mentality about the attendees. Us single guys should be grateful for all that is offered without giving us the option of free will! So is it a swingers site or a sex site? Although the clue's in the site name - it goes back to what is the definition of a swinger - which is an arguement that will go on for ever! " personally i see it as means to meet like minded people with the primary objective being for sex. one dictionary definition is:- "Swinging or (rarely) partner swapping is a non-monogamous behavior, in which singles or partners in a committed relationship engage in sexual activities with others as a recreational or social activity" therefore to a degree it is a sex site. i am not on the site to make 'friends' or for more 'normal' social activities. i go the the pub and see my friends there. so to answer the OPs question, i see it as primarily a sex site. although i have made friends on here who i have subsequently seen for meets without sex, but that isnt swinging is it?? thats just going out and having a drink.. | |||
