Don't know but so glad he's off daybreak or whatever it's called, used to put me off my breakfast seeing that face first thing in the morning. He certainly comes out with a load of old rubbish doesn't he, don't think he engages his brain before opening his mouth.

thank feck someone else feels the same way we do,cant stand the git all hes done is put england down,we dread when englands game is on itv,but at least the finals on both sides so bbc1 for us

I thought he brought a different angle to football commentary, far better than some of the southern twats you get presenting many shows with home country accents and no real passion for the game. Like him or not Childs is a true football fan which can't be said for so many others.
