"American humour.... does this really exist " Based on 'comedies', it seems most US humour has to be blatant slapstick type 'funny', in order to be humorous. The more sophisticated UK humour seems largely over their heads, and they largely don't get it, or view it as amusing because we're quirky. Funny how we're so different, but at least we have had stations such as BBC that have held TV standards higher than much of their trashy stuff. | |||
