"Jaguar f-type V6 coupe. Affordable, sounds amazing. Looks like something James bond would drive." The V8 sounds so much better. To be perfectly honest though the sound when it started up was the best thing about it. People the other side of the car park would turn round when u started if. It’s a decent car but there’s far better, it’s not a patch on a 911 IMO having owned both

Technically they are excellent, but every one I’ve ever driven is so dull, they’re fast, but they feel very sterile.

"Probably an Audi R8.. more discreet than a lambo or ferrari, or a cheeky Mclaren Backed up by the Audi Rs6 Avant . " Can’t understand why anyone, if money wasn’t an issue, would take an R8 over a ferrari ?? McLaren are great cars but they have a lot to learn as a company in how to deal with their customers. I wouldn’t go near a McLaren again

"There are some awesome cars mentioned in this thread which I totally appreciate but am I alone in preferring the performance versions of more everyday, real world cars? " Not for me. I love the feeling it gives me when I leave home in the morning and climb into a gorgeous looking sports car. Modern Ferrari’s, porsche, McLaren etc etc ARE real world cars. Every day drivers. I’m not one for leaving it in the garage and taking out on rare occasions. If you buy one, drive it every day and enjoy it for what it is

"Some fantastic cars on this thread. I've driven quite a few. Nobody has mentioned McLaren, who get my heart racing... sticks to the road/track like it's on rails and the smoothest gear change I've ever encountered. Give me the 720s or the 570s I'm not fussy. Watch the tunnel run if you're not familiar - Oh the sound! https://youtu.be/mKzhqb3k-TU" Saw a P1 Senna earlier this evening, very nice looking car but not the best.
