Sex is amazing, friends are brilliant, but does anyone else just think they want more? More meaningful I mean, not more sex and friends haha

"Does anyone else read the thread title in the singing voice of Scott Walker ?"
who’s Scott Walker?

As for loneliness, yes, I get lonely at times. But I fear this is not the place to fulfil that aspect of my needs.

Being a widow I have an amazing network of friends whom have been by my side, but as times gone in I’ve started to think about moving on, but it’s harder than it seems, dating in the modern times is a nightmare, and here because your a single male there is so much distrust, not by everyone I hasten to add.

It’s evening and weekends where loneliness hits home.......cuddles, spooning and conversation is what I miss

I am alone, I am not lonely but to your OP point it would be nice to share my life and experiences with soomeone. Until then, live a great life.

These days, I have J, he truly is the other half of me and my best friend and I wouldn't trade that for anything.

However, when I was single and swinging, I had a great circle of playmates and friends, amazing people I spent awesome times with and though there was no romance I never felt lonley or like I was missing something.

Obviously I was, but I hadn't know he existed then

P.O. Box DE1 0NQ

I live alone, but sometimes I have to bat people off with a shitty stick who keep knocking on ma door

I know what you mean OP, but I do like ma own company. I've had a few long-term relationships and I do miss a kiss and a cuddle in the morning, not to mention a cuppa in bed x
