"Massive Prisoner fan here. I've watched through all 692 episodes on more than one occasion. Highly addictive stuff, at times moving, at times comical (often unintentially) and had some pretty groundbreaking storylines for the time. It also had one of the greatest theme songs of any TV show. " I think it's to avoid confusion with "the prisoner" (in spite of it being 10years older and a totally different show). Bit like how "The Avengers" was renamed "Marvel's: Avengers Assemble" in the UK to avoid confusion with the spy show from the 70s (or the crap film from 20yrs ago with Uma Thurman) | |||
