A few times.... I dont really find it uncomfortable though... Everyone I meet is aware that I meet with no guarantee / expectation of anything, so on the occasions that I wasnt interested after meeting, I politely told them that.

We invited a guy over he was nice and polite etc, but Mrs W didn`t have the "spark" for him, but kind of just went thru` the motions, as he had made the effort lol

luckily enough neva had this happen as i can usually tell from messages exchanged prior to meeting whether or not there is going to be a connection. All u can do i guess is politely say its not working out

Weve been in this situation a couple of time,s admittlingly at first we played with them anyway, but after a few meets we soon got to the hang of thing and confidence and now we just say No its not working thx but no thx or or make our excuses and go off in the club else where,

Thats why in general we never do home meets till have met and clicked and dont like parties unless we know most of the couples, stay away from the big beds and orgy rooms in clubs try to keep ourselfs away from unwanted attention, but if that doesnt work a thx no thx does lol

I always meet socially during my lunch hour for a coffee.

If there's no attraction the most I've lost is a hour of my time. I've yet to meet any academy award winning actors, and I'm not up for a statue either.

It's pretty obvious if there's any attraction or not.

happened a few times, you just never know until you meet someone in person. I just politely said that this is not really happening for me. I never had any problems when I said that.

Along with always meet for a coffee in a public place first - far easier to let someone down gracefully, and there's always the option of abandoning the coffee and rushing off for some privacy if it goes well

I tend to meet someone in public rather than in private if I am not totally sure over someone but either way if I felt it wasn't happening I would tell them. Honesty is the best policy but tact and being polite should be taken into account too.

we also always meet in a pub, there have been loads of occasions where we haven't wanted to take things further - we just politely say that we're not attracted and go home - or to a club! Z

We met a couple who were atleast three stone larger than their pics and the girl was half asleep. All the guy did was talk about busses, really bored us to tears.

We made out that we thought it was just a social meet and left after about 40 mins x

When we meet we make it clear that the first meeting is a social meet to avoid that sort of being put on the spot situation. It works well for us. Sometimes the chemistry is not there, sometimes people get too intense about things ... so this is a good way of keeping option open without offending anybody. Having said that, we once met a couple, parted company politely and when we later declined another meet (very politely) they turned quite nasty - proving that the decision to decline had been spot on.

I had this meet where the woman was polite and sounded nice but when I met her and her husband she was a bit snotty and abrupt really, but still really wanted it just a strange kind of personality, when i walked in the hotel room she said "go and wash your bits" as soon as i walked in, as if id have a dirty one bloody hell im spotlesly clean ! Then just went "take all your clothes off and put them over there" then she said "when weve finished just put your clothes on and go as where meant to be going out" just made me chuckle really just fucked her really really hard and legged it haha, all a bit uncomfortable really, although she seemed to have and said she had a fab time ha

as a single guy i once met a cpl at my house,

when we were chatting it was soon apparent that it was the hubby who was keen on the meet but the wife was not, and just doing it to please him.

so i turned the chat to her and what she wanted,

after hearing her answers i just said that i was not there to give the hubby a thrill and we would not be playing,

the look of relief on the ladies face said it all.

but the words that were said out side are not repeatable he went ballistic

Be honest....

i met a couple at theirs, was obvious to all three of us that there was no spark sexually...

we ended up drinking and having a laugh and they are now good mates...

and there is still no sexual spark... and i dont care....

strange i know but made the best of a bad thing.

I think it happens mostly when people are too eager to meet. It's awkward because you're all their for sex but you realise that all you've talked about and you know nothing about that person.

Been there and lesson learned.

Meeting socially takes away any 'ok lets shag even though we dont want to but you have made the effort to travel etc etc'..

If it does'nt click, just be polite..

anyone who gets arsey or cops the 'ump over a no thank you probably wont be worth playing with..

My experience so far (touch wood) has been rather good and I hope this continues. I suppose I tend to go on good old gut instinct as if something from the outset doesn't quite feel right then chances are you could be on to a duffer!

The very reason I prefer social only first meets. You can always 'extend' the meet to a hotel room if its good and just say 'bye bye' if its not and no harm done.

Met a classy business woman at her hotel once. Had a drink and she had booked a table for dinner. Went along with it but part way through the meal she started to lay down what was going to happen and when. I stopped her at the 'You will enter me from behind at 10.30 ..' bit, said it wasn't my thing and said I was leaving. She said 'but you can't'. I said 'watch me' and bid her farewell, paid the meal bill and left.

Funny because I used to have on my profile not to ask at the meet as it felt like they were pushy and still they asked so I gave up and removed it, now I thank them for meeting me and message them when I get back

I tell them face to face in the cafe.

At first I thought that was the awkward option, but experience has taught me if I wait till I get home to send a 'you are lovely but I don't want to play with you' message they will have managed to send me 'you're so hot can't wait to...' message.

So now I take a deep breath and tell them to their face. Noone has ever got nasty, a few have tried to persuade me to change my mind, but it's usually the best policy.

We part on good terms, and if they were pleasant, looked like their pics and description then I offer a verification - just cos I don't fancy them doesn't mean that the next woman won't.
