I used to think I was, but over the last year I’ve realised others people’s issues are not my fault. So yes I have my faults.. but I’m no longer undateable. It’ll just take a special sort to deal with me

I think I am dateable, but only once per person. I say date, it's more of a "time where we hang out for a bit"

Being taken for a mug one too many times has raised my barriers so I'm good for a laugh still, but I'll cut people out of my life with a snippity snip snip if things don't add up.

I'm 49 and my only long term serious relationship lasted 3.5 years when I was in my 20s (the 8 year one doesn't count as she was living with someone).

I think most women are always dateable? As the old saying goes there's someone out there for everyone. It's just a matter of finding them? Alas for us older guys we do have a sell by date and fall off the end of the desirable scale. However I live in hopes that someone will look past the exterior and give me a chance one day?
