Someone puts an idea forward or asks a question, someone else gives their opinion of answers the question in such a way that the other person can respond. It can be difficult at first especially if one or both of you are nervous. It's useful to have a few ideas of things to talk about before you meet someone I think. I worked with a woman who just talked, all the time. I don't know why, she literally talked until she ran out of breath. Conversation was impossible so everyone just spent as little time as possible with her. Which was sad | |||
