Like an earlier poster said, sheer weight of numbers has a lot to do with it! But to be fair, if I use the "looked at me" function there's a different user looking at me probably every hour or so minimum and perhaps every five or ten minutes if I'm in the forums. And about half of these are blokes, which make up the largest denomination when you consider that women and couples make up the other half.

As for reasons why, I can understand the gay/bi chaps obviously, but the straight lads I put down to either they are interested in a lady whom I have had a meet with and wonder what her "type" is, or perhaps they're just bored and having a butchers.

Either way I don't lose any sleep over it!

snap. after my last round of pic uploads I had about 500 views.

I'd say about 300-400 must've been guys. then it was couples followed by a small (probably less than 5%) females.

same goes for fabbing of pics. most of mine have been fabbed by 'straight' guys

ya know the thing I hate most though. not messaging! I've had the same single girl wink me, add me to friends, constantly view my pics several times but never return a message.

You not the onyly one Gaz....and it is a good idea to clic on guys profile to see what they put on. Learning from other people to stay a step ahead. And the site has more guys than ladies. So it work like a comparaison. And how do you compare if you don't look???

It doesn't bother me at all when I see that a bloke browse me. I even send a quick message to say thanks you for browsing my boring profile

Considering how many profiles are really crap, with little information in them etc, then it's probably no bad thing that users are checking each other out... as long as they're checking good quality profiles. Otherwise, if they're looking at a 'will fill in later, new to this' type profile, it'll just reinforce the message that that's ok to have.

A lot of us do encourage guys to check out the competition, and get some ideas - not steal - how to improve their profiles.

Also guessing that verifications from females/couples on their profiles are checked out, to see what they're up against too.

Correct. Especially when the person has met and they add some verify. You clic and read about them. It does help a lot

go to your filters, block single guys from contacting you and put on your headline your straight. wont solve your problem but might reduce it

It is fortunate then that my meets seem to include different types with regards to age, body type, hair colour, interests, etc as I wouldn't want to have anyone assume I wouldn't find them appealing. Although stupidity in a lass would put me off though, but stupid people probably wouldn't be able to cross-reference a person's meets anyway lol!

Bad hygiene is my other deal breaker, but I hardly think asking a prospective meet, "Do you smell?", would come across very favourably...
