What are you grateful for?

Ok everyone! The forum has been showing a lot of pain and sadness tonight, so let’s look at the other side of the coin where the happiness, love and joy live

What are you grateful for? What are you proud of? What makes you happier than anything else in this world?

I’m grateful for my family, their health and happiness means the world to me. I’m grateful for my other half who isn’t just my partner but my best friend. I’m grateful that I have a job that makes me happy, enough food to eat and a roof over my head.

I’m proud of who I am, despite the parts of me I don’t like, and consider myself a content work in progress. I’m proud of my determination and strength. I’m proud of how big my heart is and how much I care about the people I love.

I’m happiest when I’m painting and I go into this place of complete contentment.

Ok, your turn! Happy Thursday!

Grateful for my family and my gorgeous granddaughter.

For my new job, when so many are losing theirs.

For my friends who have stuck with me through some awful recent times.

For people who see past my size and see me for the person I really am.

For Foxes Biscuits for making Golden Crunch Creams.

I'm grateful for K, everything about her, everything that she does, and for being the amazing woman that she is.

My family's health in this time and that their poorly cat is still hanging in there and being spoiled

I’m grateful for my family.

I have two beautiful kids and a strong, determined mum who lives with chronic pain every day but keeps on keeping on.

The rest of my family have passed away in recent years and I still miss them very much.

Grateful for family. And my niece and nephew always make me smile and put me in a good mood even when they're being annoying.

Reading, alone time, walking the dogs and creating are some of the times I'm happiest just being in the moment.

I am grateful for my boys. I am proud of how the youngest copes with his chronic illness, the hospital appts, the failed blood test attempts, he takes it all in his stride. I am proud of the eldest choosing his own path and doing what the hell he wants and not caring a jot what anyone else thinks. they are my reason for battling every bloody day x

I'm grateful for my two kids, and proud of the young adults they are becoming, and they reward me everyday for the the struggles and the fight I had to have to make sure they could have the best future possible.

I'm grateful for my health, while not 100% perfect I'm doing alright, and remember my lost friends and contemporaries who never got to experience a life well lived.

I'm grateful for the fact that as the world is in turmoil, my job and career are secure, and while many are experiencing very real issues, stresses and worries around the jobs and futures, for now I look to be secure.

I'm grateful for the fact that I'm mostly at peace with myself, enjoy my own company, and have no significant worries to bother about.

...and I'm really very grateful right now that a certain lady likes me!

I'm grateful for my friends, my family (some of them) and my dog.

Also for the incredible pain killing qualities of tramadol, oxycodone and amytriptaline which sponsored my introspective mood last night (oops) and the approximately 2 hours sleep I managed to have.

Oh and beautiful men in Japanese shops who flirt with me and make me feel like I still have it.
