Honestly, pretty down. My MH issues are playing up and I'm finding it tough.

But I'm currently in the bath trying to cheer myself up so here's hoping it helps.

Feeling rather meh.

Niggly headache, and achey back.

Still horny and sexually frustrated as always but really wishing just for a strong pair of hands to give me an amazing massage.

Relaxing and taking time out just for you is good. Don't try to cheer yourself up. Just relax and quieten your mind.

"Down, hard to motivate myself to do much at all. I'm functioning but shouldn't there be more?"

There is always more even if you can't see it.

The cliche is the small things but it can work. Go for a walk and notice things - plants growing in the cracks of pavements, the way a discarded mask has fallen on the ground, go to a cafe and have a coffee/tea and people watch.

Even if your mind is saying no you can still physically do these things.

If you don't want to smile then don't smile. You can't be happy all of the time. Moods dip and rise but don't last forever. Sometimes your mood can start low but rise towards the end of the day. You can write your moods down as they change and you can then see how the low moods don't always last.

You shouldn't feel guilty about not doing something or being more productive. Life isn't always about doing things or moving forward.

But if you are feeling yourself starting to spiral down (not wanting to leave the house or get out of bed) then it might be time to contact your GP.
