"I was gonna work on that back in May but all I've improved is my alcohol tolerance. I'd like to learn Japanese." Have a look at Duolingo or Memrise. Reddit is actually surprisingly helpful if you look in the right places.

"I’m constantly working on me, because I’m always a work in progress. Self-assurance, confidence and liking yourself takes constant maintenance. Exercise helps me with most of that, and copious amounts of sex I’m also working on painting more and getting my head back into illustration. I’ve been neglecting my creative side for far too long." Psychological maintenance is an underrated aspect of self care x

If I don’t look after me I can’t care for the people I love... and I have a lot of people leaning on me. Keeping up your own inner peace, happiness and strength is vital. X

"At the end of week two of couch to 5k From the first day and now I'm definitely seeing some improvements and maybe I can actually do this " Congrats! I've started running a few times now (and given up 1 fewer time...) and getting back up to 5k is an interesting thing to watch, stopping to walk 5 times drops to 3, to 1 and gone... then one day you'll complete your 5k and just keep running past your gate and do another lap without batting an eyelid. I accidentally did a half marathon a few months back. Just find the pace that you can sustain sort-of-indefinitely and you'll be surprised how easy it is to go far further than you expected.
