In my experience, the guys/women that send (shocking) one-liners (e.g. toilet guy, bunker guy, laptop guy, are-you-on-the-pill guy, you-look-like-my-daughter guy) send the same message to hundreds. It's a provoking strategy to try get a response and it's easier to get a reply from me with just a simple compliment tbh.
