Guilty or not....?

Do you feel that you comment more on forum threads that already have a high number of replies?

I want to say no and be all virtuous and shiz, but I think in truth I probably do.... ....I think my mind is lazy at times and I just look for entertainment in what's already proved popular. How about you?

I tend to go for the ones in the dawn of their brilliance, fanning the flames of smut with witty and sarcasm filled comments until it bursts in to a burning, brilliant light. Allowing those in it's presence to bask on it's glory before it fades in to the dusk of 175 replies...

Or y'know, I just talk utter crap.

I get tempted to do this but I can imagine the outrage if I do.

As far as the OP goes, I'll skim read most threads and I'll reply to the ones that interest me. If it's been a few hours I'm loathe to bump them sometimes. Not sure why, I just am. I like the ones where there's a bit of thought behind it and it doesn't matter if it was posted recently or not. I tend to avoid some of them because I don't think they would want me commenting/they aren't my style.

I do think I judge some of the serious threads on the number if replies though and time they've been up though and also if they've been bumped, even if I don't WANT to, it's just subconscious shiz and I probably need to make an effort to change that....

Nah, if it's something I've found interesting before it got derailed there's always the option to start my own thread. People enjoy things in their own ways and it's all good.

I have messaged someone privately to discuss points they raised before it all went sideways though, I've had a few great conversations start that way.

Sometimes I'm a sanctimonious, pretentious arse so I don't blame people for not engaging with me. My sense of humour is a bit... well dark and quirky.

I am going to start replying to threads, regardless of time lapsed (as long as under a day) because I'm going a fair few hours without logging on atm and I'm missing some interesting ones.

I like quickfire ones that are often popular, but avoid the busy ones that have turned into a deep convo/argument, or just a stream of innuendo.
