Just reading online about their 'computer glitch'

Hope its not effected too many fabsters!

Its makes you think though, with cards, internet banking and now swiping your phone etc. A computer glitch like this can bring everything crashing down.

Glad i changed from natwest to hsbc last year!

There are alot of theories going round tbh from there going to bust to blaming it on IT job cuts in the UK earlier this year.

I used to be a NatWest customer many years ago until they rang me up and said, "Mr Wishy, whilst we at NatWest pride ourselves on the service we give to all of our customers, we'd like to remind you that YOU bank with US, not US with YOU." Then they closed my account.

I'm with Natwest, the only problems I had yesterday was that I could not get an up to date balance online or in branch but had no problems what so ever of withdrawing money from a cashpoint or paying for goods with my debit card and online banking was up and running again last night

Had terrible problems with Natwest over the last 6 months or so, cards not being delivered , bank statements not arriving....why? Well when i went into branch it was cuz someone had typed into the computer i would pick up all correspondence n cards up from branch!!! Feckless staff in the branch i used...needless to say i switched to HSBC

Wonders how NatWest is going bust as they belong to the government ? So does that mean the UK is same as Greece now ?? Don't think so
