So I'm sat in the market place at Ripon an about three million scooters have all arrived. Is there some sort of national scooter day today?

At least they all look like their hair has dried now

Is anyone here into scooters? My dad was a scooter boy in his youth but I've always preferred real motorbikes

Not many are dressed in "Mod fashion" there's quite a lot of camo... which seems less safe than hi-viz for road safety.

There and to the left a bit

Scooter rally's are still very much a "thing" and COVID aside happen regularly up and down the country, particularly through the summer months, it's not all Mods either, skins, rude boys even punks get involved - there's quite an underground scene of bands too, as well as the obvious more well known ones again mostly Mod/ska/Two Tone but other influences too.

Love the sight of a group of scooters out for a ride
