"It was standard behaviour at my son's first primary school for parents (normally the mums) to come and drop off at the classroom door in PJs and slippers and to collect at 15.15 in the same PJs and slippers. I must say I found it a bit lazy. " So true was same at my kids school

"I often see people shopping in their PJ's, robes or slippers. Personally I think it shows that these people have no standards. And are extremely too bone idle to dress properly before leaving the house. What's everyone else's opinion?" Shit! Will have to close my curtains next time I do my shopping. Oh wait, did you say "leaving the house"?

"I often see people shopping in their PJ's, robes or slippers. Personally I think it shows that these people have no standards. And are extremely too bone idle to dress properly before leaving the house. What's everyone else's opinion?" I work in retail in Preston town centre. Occasionally a young Irish lady and her friend come in in pyjamas, dressing gown and slipper boots. What’s most odd, though, is that they are in full makeup inc eyebrows and eyelashes, foundation etc etc which must’ve taken ages to do. They also have immaculately done hair. With that in mind my colleagues and I concluded that they do it to attract attention rather than because they’re lazy or short of time! Nowt so funny as folk - as my granny used to say!

"Each to fhier own but personally not vor me....i dont even wear them round the house" Actually you raise a very valid point. Surely there’s very few people that still wear slippers and a dressing gown.

"I don’t really give a shit to be honest. I go to my local shop every morning in my pjs cos I like the Costa machine, granted it’s always before 8am so not many people about but I have my coffee from there before I do anything. If I saw mums in their pjs dropping their kids off to school I don’t judge them, at least they’re dropping their kids off to school and would have seen to them first before themselves. " Are the kids in their pyjamas too or school uniform ?
