I love all kinds of music... But just couldn't get into psb at all. Although some strong lyrics. Music made my ears vomit.

I’m 47, and absolutely loved PSB when I was in my late teens and early 20’s.

It may be a bit of a cheat, but I have two. “West end girls” is my fav or theirs but their cover of always on my mind is spectacular.

I have always liked my October symphony, sort of soothing, like most of that album and being boring is a classic, from 1990,hard to believe it's 30 years old now,.

Massive fan here. Impossible to pick one so top three:

West End Girls for the intro. Makes my hair stand on end.

Always on my mind/In my house.

Fave tune ever & the long player dance version shows the true genius of the rework.

For your own good.

Full on dance masterpiece.

But oh so many more special moments from many other tunes too.

Soundtrack to my life.

Even the video is my favourite.

They made a feature film years back, they used clips of it in subsequent videos, anyone know what its called? I want to get a copy.

It was called "It couldn't happen here" after the song of the same name. It was rereleased on dvd back in June this year & you can buy it on the BFI shop website for £15. Weird story but great to immerse yourself in the music & not try to understand it too much & just enjoy.

I think it was directed by Derek jarman, it's quite avant-garde, I have not seen it. But Jarman also directed the last of England, which is quite good in a avant-garde way.

Some very interesting choices, I saw them live in 2002in Leicester, as part of their back to basics tour, and they were great. Great use of lightning, I would like to see their ballet performed, it has some great music.

The album Alternative gave some of the best songs together.

Hey Headmaster is beautiful.

A New Life is equally good

I Get Excited is stunning.

They should have a-sided that, big mistake not to, I'm convinced that would have been a huge hit. Easily as good a track if not better than many they did release.

that is from, introspective album, either domino dancing or the other Latin beat track on it, quite similar to the viva la viva, Coldplay track, upbeat track, sort of Latin disco

Closer to heaven was a great soundtrack, I wander how it would have turned out if they had adapted Brighton rock, as they had originally intended, but could not get the rights to use. They could have used hangover square by the great Patrick hamilton, possibly, that would have made a great vehicle for their music, especially the sad ballads with loads of strings. And a very emotional story of unrequited love.
