On farting...

As this evening's Lounge conversation seems preocupied with bottom burps, I thought I'd share a story.

I once had to have surgery on my "fundament" Before the anaesthetic was administered a nurse quickly told me that, in rare cases, the procedure has resulted in an inability to hold in farts, and would I still like the procedure.

I had a brief flash of a future life where I simply could not stop myself from farting at the worst possible time. A sort of "Arse Tourettes". But I needed the procedure and told them to proceed.

I can still hold in a fart on those rare occasions that I choose too, but it got me thinking, would you date someone with uncontrollable farting? If your partner suddenly found themselves unable to hold in a tuneful gust, would that make you think again?

Or is Love stronger than wind?
